How to be More Confident When Choosing Paint Colors in Your Home
Feeling unsure when picking paint colors? Here are a few simple steps to help you feel confident in your choice:
- Grab plenty of paint sample cards and tape them up in your space. I like to leave them up for a week so I can see how the colors look in different lighting throughout the day. It’s a great way to get a feel for the color without rushing the decision!
- Still on the fence? Try 2-3 small paint samples directly on your walls. They usually cost around $6, and it’s much better than being stuck with a gallon of paint you don’t love!
- Still unsure? Turn to an expert! Designers can spot undertones that might not be obvious to the untrained eye, and they can help you choose a color that works perfectly with your furnishings and overall style.
